StC Payroll Giving welcomes the revised figures from HMRC showing that donations to charity through pay have increased by a whopping £37 million to £155 million for the financial year 2012-13 and not £6million as was initially reported by HMRC in June 2013.
The good news keeps coming; as the number of employees using payroll giving in the UK is more than 1 million first time since the scheme began. There are now 1,022,000 employees giving through pay; nearly 40% more than last year.
