The RSPCA are urging us to be more vigilent when purchasing pups.
Unsurprisingly, lockdown has increased the demand for puppies with people willing to pay double the usual rate. This has led to unscrupulous breeders and sellers of smuggled puppies seizing the opportunity to take advantage of an unsuspecting public. Sadly, many of these dogs will be poorly by the time they go to their new homes with some even carrying life-threatening diseases.
For pup’s sake, please help RSPCA scrap puppy imports.
