We’re leading on change for younger people with bowel cancer.

Bowel Cancer UK launched their new Never Too Young report which describes the results of a survey of almost 1,300 younger bowel cancer patients and their loved ones conducted before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Key findings of the report show that the improvements achieved to date are still not enough: younger people with bowel cancer are still facing significant barriers to early diagnosisnot being tested for genetic conditions that may affect their treatment options, and not being properly supported once medical treatment has ended.

What we’re doing

Sadly, the pandemic has served to amplify existing issues experienced by younger people with bowel cancer. That’s why we’re calling for urgent policy changes across the UK and are continuing to raise awareness and advocate on behalf of younger people with this disease.

Our campaign

Every year over 2,500 younger people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK. Our Never Too Young campaign was launched in 2013 and is leading the change for younger bowel cancer patients. Find out more about our Never Too Young campaign and ways you can support on our website:
