Lung cancer is the UK’s biggest cancer killer and can affect anyone- men and women, young and old, smokers and non-smokers. On 21st July 1994, Roy Castle set off on his #TourofHope to fund for a brand new lung cancer research centre. He raised over £1m and had the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation named after him.
This week is the 25th Anniversary of the #TourofHope with £12m raised for a brand new lung cancer research centre to help raise money for vital early detection research. Payroll Giving to The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation can help continue research into this deadly disease.
